Economic and trade relations between China and Africa
Recently, Chen Sein, Chairman of the African Business Alliance, warmly received a delegation from Xinda Transformer Co., Ltd. led by Ms. Wen, Ms. Liu, and Mr. Bai. The two parties reached an agreement to deepen their partnership, focusing on utilizing the Alliance’s platform to enter the African market and strengthen their position in the overseas sales of transformer products.
The Africa Business Alliance was officially registered and established in Lusaka, Zambia, in 2015. Co-founded by Chairman Chen Xian and Zambia’s “founding father,” former President Kenneth Kaunda, the Alliance serves as a high-level, authoritative business platform dedicated to supporting the implementation of the “Belt and Road” initiative and promoting trade and economic cooperation between China and African countries. Since 2004, the Alliance has been actively engaged in the African market, accumulating extensive political and business resources in numerous African countries, while also establishing reliable overseas partnerships, a network of overseas warehouses, and strong capabilities in project implementation. The organization offers a comprehensive range of “turnkey” services, including government relations, market development, project execution, logistics, and investment consulting. These services make the Alliance an authoritative platform that leverages the political and commercial resources of both China and Africa to serve the entire African continent. With a well-established mechanism for facilitating partnerships between “sister cities,” mature overseas sales channels, and a professional local service system, the Alliance provides comprehensive support to Chinese enterprises seeking to enter the African market—helping them with market entry, order acquisition, and resource coordination. It is truly regarded as one of the most reliable cooperation platforms available to Chinese companies looking to expand their presence in Africa.
Recent discussions focused on a key objective: the export of transformer products. Both parties agreed to leverage the distribution channels provided by their alliance to target and develop the African energy market. At the same time, plans are in place to establish overseas warehouses, logistics centers, and after-sales service facilities in order to create a comprehensive sales and support network abroad that operates on a “closed-loop” basis. This collaboration represents a crucial strategic step for Xinda Transformer in its pursuit of global expansion, enabling it to capitalize on the rapidly growing trade and economic opportunities between China and Africa. It will also contribute to the sustained growth of the company’s export volume and its presence in international markets.
