Recently, the preliminary round of the 11th 'Maker China' SME Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition in Shandong Province was successfully concluded in Liaocheng. The "Maker China" Shandong Province Small and Medium-sized Enterprise (SME) Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition is a prestigious regional-level event organized by the Shandong Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology. It serves as an important platform for unleashing scientific and technological innovation potential, promoting the transformation and upgrading of SMEs, and fostering new productive forces of high quality. The Liaocheng city selection round brought together over a hundred high-quality innovation and entrepreneurship projects from various parts of the city, covering a range of key industries; thanks to the high level of the projects presented and the intense competition, the event demonstrated the strong innovation and entrepreneurship potential of local SMEs.
The competition was held in two categories — “Corporations” and “Startups” — and featured a format that included a five-minute project presentation (pitch) and a three-minute question-and-answer session. The jury, composed of experienced industry experts, investors, and technical specialists, conducted a thorough, comprehensive evaluation of the entries. The experts asked targeted questions and provided comments directly during the event to accurately determine the innovative potential of the projects and their practical feasibility. Amid intense competition, two of the company's projects received special awards in their respective categories, earning it well-deserved recognition.
