Product Definition

A single-phase transformer is a stationary electrical device based on the principle of electromagnetic induction, used exclusively in single-phase AC circuits. Its primary function is to step up, step down, or isolate voltage. As key energy conversion equipment in single-phase power systems, it is widely used in low-voltage distribution, household power supplies, small industrial equipment, and other applications.

Core structure

  1. Iron core: Made of high-quality cold-rolled silicon steel sheets using laminated processing technology, which reduces hysteresis loss and eddy current, and improves the electromagnetic conversion efficiency.

  2. Windings: consist of high-voltage and low-voltage windings wound with high-strength insulated wires. They feature a high degree of insulation and excellent conductivity.

  3. Enclosure/Tank: According to the insulation and cooling mode, it is divided into oil-immersed tanks (for oil-immersed transformers) and dry protective enclosures (for dry-type transformers), providing dustproof, moisture-proof and mechanical impact protection functions.
