Rectifier Transformer

Rectifier transformers are special transformers specifically designed for rectifier power supplies in mines. Their main function is to convert industrial-frequency alternating current into direct current. The products are manufactured in strict accordance with national and industry standards such as GB/T 1094.11 and JB/T 3837, and are certified with the mining safety product certificate KY/KA.

They are suitable for power supply in non-explosive underground areas as well as for surface rectifier equipment (e.g., for mine electrolysis, electroplating, and DC devices). They combine high rectification efficiency, strong harmonic resistance, and excellent adaptability to harsh mine conditions, providing stable and efficient DC support for DC equipment in mines and electrochemical operations.

Standard Insulation Classes: Class F (155℃), Class H (180℃); Class C is available for underground spaces with high temperatures and high humidity.

Insulation Materials: High-quality insulating oil, epoxy resin, DuPont NOMEX® paper.

Stable insulation performance even at relative humidity ≥ 95% with condensation.

Oil Compressor: ONAN / ONAF with enlarged corrugated tank and radiators.

Dry type: AN/AF with intelligent low-noise temperature-controlled fans.

Effectively controls temperature rise and prevents insulation aging.

Enclosed metal casing.

Outdoor application: IP54; underground application: reinforced dust-proof, moisture-proof, and damp-proof construction.

Absence of exposed live parts to prevent electric shock.

  • Iron core: low-loss grain-oriented silicon steel, optimized for harmonic stability, with damping pads.

  • Rectifier windings: oxygen-free copper, special transposed winding, low harmonic losses, high short-circuit withstand capability.

  • Tank/enclosure: Fully sealed corrugated oil tank (oil-immersed type); fire-resistant, dust-proof, corrosion-resistant steel (dry type).

  • Shock-resistant construction: reinforced mountings, damping pads, base plate, and lifting lugs for transport and installation in mines.

  • Protection and accessories: overload, short circuit, overvoltage/undervoltage, earth leakage protection; oil and winding temperature monitoring; optional – harmonic suppression, remote monitoring.
