Wen Yongtao, General Manager of Xinda Transformer Company, visited and exchanged experiences in Sir-Kota, Uzbekistan.
Deepening cooperation in Central Asia and achieving a $9 million procurement target: actively advancing the implementation of the Building Foundations in Central Asia strategy
Recently, Wen Yongtao, CEO of Xinda Transformer Co., Ltd., along with Bai Guangzeng, General Manager of the company's overseas office in Uzbekistan, visited the Siri Prefecture of Uzbekistan for a business review. They held meetings and discussions with the Governor of the Siri Prefecture, Erkindon Turdimov, representatives of relevant government agencies, and heads of energy companies, and also conducted field surveys of the local energy infrastructure. The parties discussed in-depth issues of substation modernization and the construction of new power sources, reaching a preliminary purchase agreement worth US$9 million, which provided a strong foundation for the company's further expansion of its overseas business as part of its "Laying the Foundation in Central Asia" strategy.
At the meeting, CEO Wen Yongtao provided a detailed overview of Xinda Transformer's development, technical capabilities, product line, and global strategy, focusing on the company's key strengths in areas such as intelligent transformer substations, related technologies for renewable energy, and efficient energy-saving transformers, as well as its proven project implementation experience. Bai Guangzheng provided additional information on the company's initial entry into the Uzbek market, localized services, and plans for further cooperation, clearly demonstrating the company's commitment and potential to expand into the Central Asian market.
The Governor of Syr-He Province warmly welcomed Wen Yongtao and Bai Guangzheng's visit, praising the quality of Xinda Transformer's products and technical expertise. The parties held in-depth discussions on issues such as the overall grid modernization plan, equipment supplies for new power plants, smart grid construction, and the creation of a maintenance and operation system. Agreements were reached on cooperation details and promotion plans, and corresponding purchase intent agreements were formally signed. The equipment will be used to modernize the Syr-He substation and construct facilities related to new energy sources.
During the inspection, Wen Yongtao and Bai Guangzheng, accompanied by district government officials, visited local businesses, substations, and charging stations, where they thoroughly examined the current state of the power grid, technical standards, and market demand. This laid a solid foundation for subsequent precise project coordination and the development of customized products and services.
This visit to Uzbekistan was an important opportunity for Xinda Transformer to implement its strategy of "building a foundation in Central Asia, overcoming challenges in the Middle East, expanding in Africa, and strengthening potential in Europe and America." It not only achieved tangible cooperation goals but also deepened interactions with local authorities and enterprises in Uzbekistan, significantly enhancing the company's brand influence in Central Asia and its market competitiveness. In the next stage, the company will use this opportunity to accelerate the implementation of procurement plans: Wen Yingtao will coordinate all activities, while Bai Guangzheng will lead localization and interaction with local partners, providing full support for product supply and project implementation, and continuing to improve its service network in Central Asia. At the same time, the company will deepen comprehensive cooperation with Uzbekistan and other Central Asian countries, using high-quality products and professional services to develop the region's energy infrastructure, making a significant contribution to the practical development of economic and trade cooperation and exchanges in the energy sector within the framework of the "One Belt, One Road" initiative.
