1. Product overview
The YB□-12 series pre-installed substation (European-style transformer) is a complete set of power distribution equipment developed by Xinda Transformer to meet the needs of urban power grid construction. It integrates high-voltage switchgear, transformers, and low-voltage equipment to distribute power according to a predetermined scheme.
Designed for 12 kV, 50 Hz three-phase AC systems with a maximum capacity of 1600 kVA, this product is widely utilized in urban high-rise buildings, urban and rural construction projects, luxury villas, parks, residential complexes, high-tech development zones, small and medium-sized enterprises, the mining and oil industries, as well as for temporary power supply at construction sites. It functions as a power receiving and distribution unit within the power grid, supporting both ring-main and radial terminal power supply configurations, and offers key advantages such as a small footprint, compact dimensions, flexible configuration options, ease of installation, a short commissioning cycle, and mobility to align with load centers.

4. Product Design Features

Designed with advanced international technologies and the practical needs of the country in mind, this enclosure features durability, thermal insulation and ventilation, dust protection, small animal protection, an attractive appearance, and ease of maintenance. Enclosure materials can be selected based on customer specifications, including aluminum alloy, steel, support plates, stainless steel, and non-metallic materials (such as fiberglass cement), allowing it to be adapted to a variety of applications.
Wide selection of basic components, high adaptability.
The high-voltage side is equipped with load switches as standard, and vacuum circuit breakers with a full range of protection features against incorrect operation are also available. Ring grid switchgear units such as XGN20-12L SF6, HXGN15A, HXGN17, and others are available as options; transformers are available in oil-filled, fully sealed, dry, and other types; and low-voltage room equipment is available in the GGD type and other proven designs.
Full protection, easy to use
The substation features a full range of protection functions and is easy to operate. High and low voltage measurements can be configured as needed, and automatic reactive power compensation devices can be installed to improve power quality, according to customer requirements.
Thermally insulated design adaptable to challenging operating conditions.
The box-type roof has a two-layer structure with a polyethylene foam core in the middle layer, providing excellent thermal insulation. Independent roof slabs are installed inside the high-voltage and low-voltage rooms, and the transformer chamber is equipped with condensation protection systems, automatic temperature control, and heating and cooling systems, ensuring stable equipment operation even in extreme temperature fluctuations.
Flexible ventilation system design, safe operation and maintenance.
The room utilizes natural ventilation, but forced ventilation can also be installed. Dust protection devices are installed on the exterior of the doors and side panels where the blinds are located, and a comprehensive safety specification ensures the safety of operation and maintenance personnel.
5. Requirements for installation, operation, maintenance and ordering.
(1) Installation and operation
After lifting the unit onto the foundation, tighten the anchor bolts, connect the incoming and outgoing lines, and conduct a comprehensive inspection before transmitting power.
Before replacing the high voltage fuse, first turn off the load break switch, then open the door for work and maintenance. Operation under voltage is strictly prohibited.
When inspecting, first turn off the power supply and carry out work strictly in accordance with the operating instructions.
(2) Order requirements
When placing an order, please indicate the product model, technical specifications, quantity, model and characteristics of electrical components, as well as the housing color.
If users have other wishes, they can indicate them when placing an order.
