A foreign delegation visited Sindh
On May 24, 2026, a delegation consisting of Mr. Bakhtiyor R. Zariev - deputy khokim of the city of Rishtan (Fergana region, Uzbekistan), Mr. Bobojon Ibrokhimov - diplomatic assistant to the khokim, and Mr. Burkhodjon Kashanov - head of a company specializing in environmental construction and development, visited Xinda Transformer Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Xinda Transformer”) for the purpose of conducting an inspection and familiarization visit. The purpose of the visit was to deepen bilateral cooperation in the field of electrical power equipment, as well as to jointly search for new opportunities for development in the energy infrastructure sector. Mr. Wen (General Manager), Mr. Hu (Executive Deputy General Manager) and Mr. Wang (Deputy General Manager) of Xinda Transformer warmly welcomed the delegation and accompanied them throughout the visit.
A delegation led by the deputy khokim of the city of Rishtan visited the production shops and the Center for Intelligent Management, Maintenance and Control of the Xinda Transformer company. Members of the delegation conducted an on-site inspection, familiarizing themselves with the entire production cycle of key products - in particular, oil-filled power transformers (rated voltage 220 kV and below) and dry-type transformers - and gained a detailed understanding of their technical parameters, production standards and quality control systems. In addition, they learned about the key competitive advantages derived from specialized research and development (R&D) adapted to the conditions of the Central Asian region - its hot, arid and sandy climate; We are talking, in particular, about such product characteristics as increased resistance to weathering, wind and sand erosion, as well as corrosion resistance. During the inspection, the delegation highly appreciated Xinda Transformer's advanced production equipment, standardized control systems and strong scientific and technological capabilities. Representatives of the delegation stopped repeatedly for discussions, asking detailed questions regarding the compatibility of products with Uzbekistan energy system standards, as well as their compliance with GOST-UZ certification requirements.
During the symposium, Mr. Ro. Zariev Bakhtiyor, deputy khokim of the city of Rishtan, presented a detailed overview of the city’s strategic geographical advantages, policies to attract investment, the current state of energy infrastructure, as well as the needs for its modernization and renewal. On behalf of the company, Mr. Wen, the CEO of Xinda Transformer, warmly welcomed the deputy khokim and the delegation led by him, presenting comprehensive information about the history of the enterprise, its production capacity, key technologies and achievements in the implementation of strategic plans in the Central Asian market. The parties held in-depth discussions on key topics such as cooperation on energy projects in the city of Rishtan, the development of individual product solutions, the creation of localized service systems and trade interaction models; Consensus was reached on a number of areas of cooperation. In the future, both sides intend to accelerate the implementation of the outlined cooperation plans, using Xinda Transformer's high-quality power equipment to promote the modernization of the power grid of the city of Rishtan and the development of new energy sources, thereby contributing to the deepening and practical implementation of China-Uzbekistan cooperation in the field of energy infrastructure within the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative.
